AC MILAN DEFEATED!!!!

A controversial Adriano goal helped Serie A leaders Inter Milan to a 2-1 victory over AC Milan on Sunday which all but ended the Rossoneri's title hopes.Champions Inter now have an 11-point advantage over third-placed Milan with 14 games to go and lead Juventus by nine after Claudio Ranieri's side drew 1-1 at home to Sampdoria.Adriano broke the deadlock at an electric San Siro on 28 minutes when he diverted in Maicon's cross, but replays showed the Brazil striker had used his arm.Midfielder Dejan Stankovic extended the lead on 42 minutes when he rifled in after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's knockdown. The Serb had earlier been denied six metres out by a stunning last-ditch tackle by Massimo Ambrosini.Alexandre Pato pulled one back 20 minutes from time when he tapped in Marek Jankulovski's cross and Milan then piled on the pressure with substitute Filippo Inzaghi being flagged offside when he thought he had grabbed an equaliser.

CONSTANTLY ISOLATED
Milan, who won the season's earlier derby 1-0, had much of the play in the first half but striker Pato was constantly isolated on his own up front with Kaka missing through injury.Inter are bidding for their fourth straight scudetto and first under coach Jose Mourinho while Milan will have to pull off a miracle to snatch their first league title since 2004.Media reports have said Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, Serie A's longest serving manager having been appointed in 2001, could be sacked if they fail to win the league this term.It was a sorry night for 40-year-old Paolo Maldini in his last derby before retiring while on-loan David Beckham, who still hopes to stay at Milan despite Los Angeles Galaxy demanding he return, did little and was substituted.

I DON'T WANT TO RETURN TO GALAXY!!(DAVID BECKHAM)

David Beckham has admitted that he would find it hard to go back to Los Angeles if the Galaxy and AC Milan failed to come to an agreement over his proposed transfer.Beckham was speaking following his team's 2-1 defeat to champions Inter in the Milan derby on Sunday that virtually ended Milan's hopes of claiming the Scudetto crown this season. And while he said he had nothing new to add in the way of developments to his potential switch from the Americans to the Italian giants,
he left no doubt as to how he would feel should the move not go through.
"(There's) nothing that I know of, not yet," said Beckham who is desperate for a switch to Italy to enhance his chances of playing in the 2010 World Cup finals.
"I've said I want to stay here and obviously if I do go back it will be a bit difficult. But I'm always professional so we will have to wait and see when the final decision is made.
"I hope things go the way I want them to. I've already said that I want to stay, I'm enjoying my time here and hopefully I will (stay)."
"Talks have obviously been going on and on and whether talks will go on or not, everyone's still talking about it. It's out of my hands but there will be talks next week."

Sunday's result was a real blow for Milan and Beckham admitted that the title was starting to look beyond his team who are in third spot in the table, 11 points behind their city rivals."We're quite far behind, we were before the game started and we needed to win it," said the former England skipper.
"You never know in this league, it's up and down, you can win one week and play great. There's a chance but it's slim."Beckham said it was an honour to have played in a Milan derby having previously played in 'El Classico' in Spain between Barcelona and Real Madrid and clashes between Manchester United and Liverpool in England.
"It's one of the biggest games in football, sure it would be better if you win it. It was a tough game, in the first half we conceded two goals. It's tough to come back from that," said Beckham who was substituted in the second half.
"We played better towards the end and put more men up front and that caused them more problems."They are all huge games, the biggest games in football and I'm proud to have played one in England, one in Spain and now one in Italy, but it would have been better to have had a different result."

Woeful display in the first half but we manage to match Inter in the 2nd,looking at the starting line up we just know we going to get in trouble and is unable to match Inter's creativity.

I dont think we do enough to prevent Inter from winning last nite game...
Kaka absence have effected the pace of our midfields,Altough I feels we should able to at least get a draw...

I think Carletto have to show courage by playing 2 strikers rather than putting Pato alone upfront and Seedrof and Ronnie supporting him...
we wont play the same if Kaka wasn't around to command the midfield...
The finishing touch might improve a lil bit if Carletto put Inzaghi as the penalty box striker and Pato doing the second striker work and at the same time he can drop in the attacking midfield area to play as what Kaka do when he is available....

or better to play Ronnie as the second striker and Pato play as the attacking midfielder and using his pace to penetrate Inter's defense...
The most important thing is to stay within the automatic spot for the UCL next season...

I hate to say it but i think we need change in the coaching department...
the youngsters we have should have been given a chances to prove themself and so far Carletto is not using all the talent wisely...

and one more thing...
BRING BACK GOURCUFF!!!!!!!

The referee help them!!!
Stupid jugdement by not ruling out Adriano's goal

Inter can score many more goals last night..We are not doing too bad but like Acu said we should play Pippo and Pato 2gether.

Anonymous said...

Kaladze is pure shit!

Anonymous said...

Its like we only have Seedorf,Ronnie and all the veterans to place in the team.
We should play the younger players more often and trust them to drive the team forward.

Anonymous said...

Agree with Acu!!!!!!!
Play Pippo from the start and we probably see the different in our game!!!!!!

Rokku said...

Same problem....
if the key player is out we will suffers....
its Carletto and the owner fault all together....

Anonymous said...

Haha,Mohd
We have the players but Carletto wrong choice let us down
Inter in other hand is much more superior than us
It will be a diiferent ball of game if Kaka wasn't injured

Anonymous said...

Sack Ancelotti!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I doubt next season will be any different than this season.Milan should and have to start relying on young players again.

Anonymous said...

Is not only Kaka have shoulder the burden. The rest of the squad need to step up to the plate when he's not able to play and work his magic for us.Even David Blaine need a rest, haha.

Anonymous said...

I heard Milan wasn't give up in the race to sign becks,10 mil for old useless grandpa like him is not logical at all,no matter how u value the reason why he was bought for..

Anonymous said...

Inter is Bullshit, thats is all I know

Anonymous said...

the game was rubbish for us.. just like everyone here said, there was a lack of creativity and pace.

best thing to do is still focus on getting 2nd place.. and the UEFA Cup i guess.

Inter was clearly the better team..but f*ck them.

Rokku said...

For me if we wanted to get the 2nd place we have to let the Uefa Cup go and concentrate on the Serie A....
Juve and Roma will want to qualify automaticly for the UCL too so it's a tough competition going on....

Anonymous said...

Yup,We have to forget the Uefa Cup and fully focus for the automatic spot of UCL..
Right now we only playing for the pride and finishing in the 3rd or 4th is not an option..

Ancelotti is willing to go...

Ancelotti is leaving Milan; no, he’s staying. The saga seems like a soap opera.

It has been many years that Ancelotti is considered to be leaving, but in the end nothing changes and nothing is destroyed, even last year, when the Rossoneri did not qualify for the Champions League, despite holding the title of World champions. He was kept on the bench against all odds.

It was in 2003 when Inter and AC Milan challenged each other in the semifinals of the Champions League, and already the first comments: who loses is doomed. AC Milan won the Champions League, Cuper was fired.

In 2005, at Istanbul: a nightmare for all Milan fans, a Champions League final dominated for 50'(3-0) and then Liverpool won on penalties. But Silvio Berlusconi kept Ancelotti.

In 2007, however, some questionable acquisitions (e.g. Ricardo Oliveira) brought more discussions about a replacement with someone such as Rijkaard. Chelsea, Real: many clubs were associated with Ancelotti, but in the end the victory of the Champions League put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Today: Scolari was sacked by Abramovich, Hiddink is keeping the bench warm for Ancelotti. There is also Real Madrid, but for the 50 years old coach would like an experience with an African national team. Who knows what the future holds for Carlo Ancelotti: the only sure thing is that we are talking about one of the most successful coaches. Milan, think about it twice...

I don't think we should give up on the UEFA Cup. We should try to win that also as well as finishing 2nd place. I want AC Milan to defeat the eventual Champions League winners during the UEFA Supercup. I also want them to bring all their youth out on loan back. Gourcuff and Paloschi most especially.

we don't have the proper players (e.g. true wingers with pace) for Rijkaard's 4-3-3 style. I don't want another season of rebuilding if Rijkaard comes. All Ancelotti needs to do is to bring back the youth and integrate them into the squad more often.

Anonymous said...

Vit,are you really convince we can win the Uefa cup without any injury along the way that perhaps would risk our chance to get at least the fourth spot?.We do have a massive squad but the Carletto stupidity in the players selection is not going to help the team to coop with the pressure of The Uefa cup. He'll go with a younger and useless player like Mattioni,Darmian,Shevy and Pippo to take the nod for the cup.Honestly with that players we'll never win anything.Haha

Anonymous said...

Vit,Tell me who the hell you will pick if you're Carletto that's not include the current starting line up he prefer? If you can place a respectable formation with the players he use for the Cup compitition this season and how they will work and win the Cup,I will treat you with a Kiss.

Ekekekeke,No Vit im a pretty girl.Much more pretty than your girl..

Anonymous said...

Agree with Wawa in this Uefa cup thing,The cup have no prestige at all...

Rokku said...

Carletto will play the Darmian,Mattioni and that uruguayian kid in the Uefa cup because he need to value their performence....
He will pair them with the Emerson,Sheva,Pippo...etc...
I still think if they did good we can reach at least the Semi-Final....
But dont use the best eleven instead he have to do some experiment like Vit use to do at his University....
Mix the blood and see if a weird success can be achieve....

Milan Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Well i guess that's what i would do. I'd play the bench players in UEFA Cup while play our regular starters in the league. I agree that we shouldn't risk our starters to injury in the UEFA cup. But if we reach the semi-finals and already secured out Champions League spot then why not?

4-4-1-1 formation

--------------Dida-------------
Darmian--Favali---Senderos---Antonini
-------Flamini------Seedorf----------
Cardacio--------------------Viudez--
------------Shevchenko---------
-----------Inzaghi---------------

damn.. that's the best team i can put out and it's not that good.

we have too many players injured and too many good/decent ones out on loan.

We need to get them back if we want to be competitive both in Champions League and Serie A next year.

we still need a top striker and another top defender.. and our midfield is a mess we can't play Pirlo, Becks, and Ronnie together. one of them has to go.. that's too many playmakers on the pitch at the same time trying to get the ball. damn. too many conflicts in midfield positions right now.

Anonymous said...

...............DIDA..................
ANTONINI....BONERA..SANDEROS....FAVALLI
............FLAMINI...............
....VIUDEZ............PIRLO......
............SHEVCHENKO...........
...........INZAGHI................

Rokku said...

who is this ghosttorrent guy???

Rokku said...

Vit are Poloschi on loan or he have been sold to parma???

Anonymous said...

If we have secure the spot for the UCL and already reaching the semi-final then we can use the regular best eleven we have, but honestly looking at your pick,Im not convince with the mix and the structure of your formation. It have to include the Emerson and Kaladze.Because these are his favourite players,Shevy is out trough injury and last week Kaladze have shown the most horrific blunder i have seen from him.But im a Milan fan,of course i will support the players and back them to win the cup.

Anonymous said...

Vit is right about the difficulty we suffers because of Carletto own mistake to lend Gourcuff out when he should have stay and fight for the place. He is touted as the new Zidane and that Nick can't be given to a rubbish player..
But thing might not be the same if he were to stay at Milan and not expressing himself like he now do week in week out at France..

Anonymous said...

Paloschi is on a co-ownership deal with Parma. He didn't want to leave the club but when they brought Sheva in, he opted to go since he didn't want to rot on the bench. there's no way he would have gotten a chance to play with Pato, Borriello, Inzaghi, and Sheva available in the beginning of the season.

i don't really know why we brought Sheva back. don't get me wrong I LOVE SHEVA. but sadly he's past his prime. If Sheva really wants to improve and get back into form he should ask to be loaned to a serie B team or back to Dynamo Kiev where he will get many chances to start and improve. True champions make sacrifices in order to reach glory.

that's true Azmus. Maybe Gourcuff wouldn't have turned into such a quality player if he didn't go to Bordeaux for 1st team action. It wasn't a mistake to loan him BUT it would a be HUGE mistake to SELL him or LET HIM GO.

goal.com says these are the possible formations for Werder Bremen vs AC Milan

WERDER
Possible Formation (4-4-2): Wiese; Fritz, Mertesacker, Naldo, Boenisch; Baumann, Tziolis, Diego, Ozil; Pizarro, Rosenberg

MILAN
Possible Formation (4-3-2-1): Dida; Antonini, Bonera, Kaladze, Favalli; Flamini, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Seedorf, Ronaldinho; Inzaghi

Bonera needs to play better than Naldo
Ronaldinho needs to play better than Diego
Inzaghi needs to play better than Pizzaro

Rokku said...

vit....
all the comparrison u put on the table there symbolise the weakness of our team....
if that line up is the final starting players we can see the Naldo,Pizzaro and Diego is much better than the Ronnie,Bonera and Inzaghi...sadly that's the truth....but Kaladze??after last week??he should be drop straight to the reserve squad...

Rokku said...

vit....
im very upset with sheva's form...huh,i guess the time have come for him to hanging the boot....or better leaves for the States...hahaha....anyway he is the best striker that i have ever seen and nobody will replace him as the heroes that makes me loves this sport....
praying for the best of luck to sheva after this.....

owh....
so he's still able to comeback huh???
nice to hear that....that kid ball control is much better than Pato but he have surrender first and hopefully comeback with a bang in the next 2,3 years...

Anonymous said...

Beware of the rosenberg and pizzaro combination..Very strong partnership, they dont do fine in the Bundesliga and might wanted to salvage something out of this cup..We might crashes out if we take them lightly, anyway we need to focus more on the Serie A..

Anonymous said...

Mohd is right about Naldo,Diego and Pizzaro will and can be better than our players.hahaha
Perhaps they are not in the best of form but when it come to playing their last chance of silverware, they might surprise us and Carletto might eat his own foot by his coacky comment.

Anonymous said...

that's true. Paloschi does have wonderful ball control. That's why he can be trained to become the next Inzaghi.

you guys are also right. Werder seem to have the stronger side..but we are tactically smarter than Werder. Don't worry you guys i think we will defeat them.

Can we sell Emerson, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Kaladze and even Sheva?

this way we can sign two proven top defenders (Santocroce and Luisao are my choices) and a top striker and also free up our midfield congestion.

we can't be a real competitive side if we have many veteran players who's form are declining at a large rate. Some nights they play WONDERFUL and AMAZING but other nights they're SHIT. We'll never win anything if we're inconsistent.

Rokku said...

hahaha...vit
i dont think we will sell sheva bcaoz he is still under contract with chelsea and ambro is milan's 2nd strongest defensive midfielder...
but emerson should be sell bcoz he is not doing anything that contribute directly or indirectly to us,he is just a waste of money...

Anonymous said...

Waste of money??he wasting our energy to watch him..haha
Stupid Carletto to aqcuire him at the first place..
Vit,Poloschi is not Inzaghi type striker instead he is a 2nd striker just like Pato..
That's why he got axe from Milan after wasting money in developing him..
Poloschi is a good young player and to let him go at such oung age is stupidity..

Vit,you don't talk about selling Sheva in this blog!!..
Mohd will kill you..hehe

Anonymous said...

Agree with your opinion Vit,Seedorf,Kaladze and Sheva is not consistent at all.We have true starting fighter in Cuffy,Poloschi and lot more youth players we've got but we let them go all because of the need to gave the inconsistent a place to play.
No logic from my perspective.

There's a rumors about Nesta will never play football again,God..I s there any truth in it?Anyone?
