LAZIO VS AC MILAN MATCH SUMMARY.
The line is a little bit frustrating for me,to see Seedorf in the starting eleven is not making any sense.I am upset with Seedorf's performence last week and I only hope for much better form from him.Favalli have to be replace with Danielle Bonera after he pick up an injury at warm up session.The same line up shows how Carletto newest formation is delivering to his expectation and this formation that includes right winger(Becks) have blossom quickly.Jankulovski playing at leftback is limiting his contribution to the team overall performence,I honestly feels he can perform a lot better if Carletto let him play at the left flank.

Becks as usual gave his best in attacking and defending,he shows full commitment to us and I say keep him at Milan.No doubt about his contribution have lift the team spirit.Janku almost scores in the early minutes of 1st half but his shot is saves by Lazio's goalkeeper,he make great run from the left flank that gave us the fisrt shot of the match.Zarate looks very dengerous especialy when he plays a one two pass with Pandev,while in defending Ladesma is doing great in blocking any run from Pato and Kaka.He stop Kaka's shot in first 10 minutes and making the job to beat them even harder.Becks is doing the crossing and the defending amazingly well at the right flank helping Zambrotta in the same time.Zambrotta is definately the best defender in this match when in numerous occasion he stop Zarate,Pandev and Meghni attacks.
Lazio is playing a pressing game in the 1st half and pressing the less fast players like Becks and Pirlo who is the heart of the midfields.The first 30 minutes is clearly dominated by Lazio,Pandev almost broke the deadlock in the 34 minutes but brilliant saves by Abbiati deny his effort.Kaka at the first 30 minutes is being over power by Ladesma while once again Lazio almost score this time with Zarate but once againt stopped by Abbiati.The domination shows by Lazio is useless after Pato from Becks cross scores great goal that adds to his goals tally.Kaka initialy start the move that see us leading 1-0 in the 1st half.Seedorf poor first is really getting me angry and I wish for Carletto to replace him with Ronnie or Flamini but he still there in 2nd half and continue dissapointing us with string of miss passed and it almost like we are playing with 10 players.
I don't see any direct contribution from him and it only gets worst as the game proceed.The starts is unbeliveable when Becks's freekick meet Ambrosini head at far post of Lazio left hand side and into the beck of the net.Kaka continue his red hot form by scoring the 3rd goals in 83 minutes,his mazy run outclass the Lazio defend and with calm he score his 10th goals of the season.He have evolve from an attacking midfielder to a second striker in this new formation and I really feel this have suit his style.Carletto have obviously build the team around him and it added to his confidence boost so far.Abbiati have been the new heroes at goal for us and together with Sanderos,Bonera and Zambrotta they combined well to exacute Carletto's strategy.
Sanderos have shown a little bit of maturity since his moves from Arsenal and with 2 players providng the goods from midfields that's Becks and Pirlo we have the best midfields partnership.
Becks and Pirlo is like two superb quarter back that supply pin point passed to the attackers we have.Seedorf have been dissapointing for us and i don't want to talk about that anymore.We played a true itallian style of football,nothing too flsahy but effective enough to win the game week in week out.Next match I hope we will display a miles better showmanship than this week and I hope to see more of Pato playing like a true mature superstars.Its not like he is not great for us but he in a few occasion shows his weakness especially in term of his first and second touch of the ball provided to him.He needs to widen his game for me. Lazio in long period of time have passed better and created equal amount of chances,in fact their passes is better than us.

WHAT A POST ACU,AGREE WITH YOUR POINT AND BECKS DEDICATION TO THE TEAM HAVE BRING THE BEST OUT OF EACH PLAYERS WE HAVE.
LOOK NEXT GAME AGAINTS RANGERS,ALTHOUGH JUST A FRIENDLY WE SHOULD BEAT THE HELL OUT OF THEM AND MAKE THEM CRY IN THEIR OWN BACKYARD.
Senderos impressed me very much and his partnership with Bonera. I also follow Arsenal matches and I would get frustrated at Senderos for his mistakes. I got frustrated again when Milan wanted to loan him. But I guess the Italian defense training is making him improve. I hope we also get Agger so we can finish strengthening our defense.
I know Seedorf didn't play his best. But trust me Mohd. He is a better partner to Kaka than Ronaldinho. Ronnie and Kaka don't have the connection yet. It's not as good or complete as the connection Seedorf and Kaka have. Also Seedorf knows how to defend and chase after the ball better than Ronnie can. If Ronnie plays he will interfere with Kaka's game, and even Beckham's and Pirlo's game. Remember all the games when Ronnie played with Pirlo playing? Pirlo became useless because Ronnie was tracking back to deep midfield to pickup the ball.
This is why I want Gourcuff back because i think he and Kaka will make a better team than Ronnie and Kaka.
I know Ronnie helped us in the beginning. but that was because Kaka was injured/coming back from injury. I know people will get mad at me. But I feel Ronnie should have gone to City and Gourcuff should have stayed.
But that has passed. The important thing is we're in 2nd place and that we keep moving forward. I hope Ronnie can find the connection with Kaka and become the complete player he was before. We need that type of player to win the Scudetto and UEFA Cup this year.

Cuffy still got it for me,no use to have such talent if we keep loaning the players out.Poloschi too for example,i don't see much different between him and Pato.
They keep faith in old players and not giving young kids a deserve equal place,so why bother buying all this young player??

from my observation in bordeux game recently and cuffy scores i see him plays as an attackking midfielder....
and thats probably why carletto said that cuffy is not as fast as kaka...
but cuffy does have big talent in him and when he was at milan he plays with kaka not intefere with kaka's position....
but this is what carletto should say to ronnie too....play with kaka and support kaka not intefere with his position....
honestly i hope seedorf retires and cuffy comeback...
we need new breath of style next year....

Gourcuff plays as an attacking midfielder in Bordeaux because there are no other attacking midfielders with him in their formation. Remember our older 4-3-1-2 in Milan? where we had two strikers and Kaka behind them as a trequartista. That's Gourcuff's position in Bordeaux.
But you're correct Mohd. When he played at Milan he doesn't interfere with Kaka's playing. That's what's good with GCuff he's so versatile now. In the middle and in the wings he can play. Just like Ryan Giggs.
I hope Ronaldinho learns how to play with Kaka and Pirlo. When Ronnie plays you can tell that Pirlo and Kaka don't play their best because Ronnie interferes.

Beckham will have to leave i think. Because Bruce Arena and Galaxy don't want to let him go. I know 100% Beckham want's to stay at Milan. But Galaxy and Bruce Arena keep reminding both Milan and Becks that he has a contract to honor.
che mamat: Acu,just look at how we play and strategise the tactics.Its slow like turtle and uneffective for a long period of time in that match.I want faster attack,what i mean is a faster player at Milan.Thiago like u said is a fast player.I agree with u in ronnie matters, its a wasted of money to benched him.He recieves 3rd biggest salary behind Kaka and Sheva.Why bench that guy if he can provide his expertise as a provider in the midfield?,if i were Berlusconi i'll sack Ancelloti right away.
Vit i like your point about Cuffy..This kid have some wierd vibe about him,I heard Wenger have approach Milan about wanting to sign him but he sign Arshavin instead..Cuffy can work the midfield like what seedorf use to do and i agree with Vit that he is not intefering with Kaka when he played with us but i don't see any good thing about him that time.Now I feels he have mature his game and he's ready for war with Ronnie and Seedorf when he came back...

I agree with you Vit.Cuffy can certainly plays as what gigs did for Man.utd right now.But he's not playing that role when he's younger because he's very fast back then.Brings Cuffy back!!!!

Lippi already agreed to play Maldini for one last time. but Lippi said that it was a surprise request so it's too late to play him against Brazil on February 10. But Lippi promised to play Maldini if Maldini is truly going to retire from football.
Maldini also agreed and said he would love to play for the Azzuri one last time. I hope it happens. He's the greatest defender EVER!!! Cannavaro is NOTHING compared to Maldini. Maldini should have been the captain of Italy and won the world cup, fifa world player, and ballon d'or instead of cannavaro.
btw.. it was Pirlo who led the Azzuri to world cup glory.. not Cannavaro. Pirlo created all the plays and controlled the midfield.
DonCarlo and Che Mamat: yes i hope Cuffy comes back. He still needs to grow a bit in experience. I'm only worried that Bordeaux might find the 15million and buy him from Milan. I'm also scared that other big clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Bayern are looking to buy him also..and Ancelotti keeps saying we don't need him. I hope Milan are smart and if they don't want Gcuff back then they should EXTEND THE LOAN to Bordeaux so NO OTHER BIG CLUBS CAN BUY HIM FROM US. That way Bordeaux are happy, GCuff is happy to play more 1st team, and Milan will not lose a great future talent. GCuff knows how to cross very well. At Bordeaux he's the corner kick taker, and he likes to run down the wings like Giggs and make crosses. Beckham is better but GCuff is faster and much more versatile. He's like Zidane and Giggs combined.
Mohd: GCuff's father is a little bit mad at AC Milan because of the comments made that we don't need him. He said "there are other big clubs out there other than Milan..." so he might try to sell GCuff to another BIG club if Milan keep saying we don't need him.

If Gourcuff comeback he should play like Becks or Pirlo in the heart of the midfield,a box to box player.

Che and Clabby: For me the simplest and easiest answer is to place him where Seedorf plays or to swap him with Beckham if Beckham leaves. But i also have a much more complex plan if Gourcuff comes back.
First we need to point out that Milan WON'T and CAN'T play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 because 1) our players aren't fast enough. 2) Ancelotti is not an expert at these.
We need a formation that separates players into zones..which is what Carlo's style is very good at.. like his 4-3-2-1 XMAS Tree and 4-3-1-2.
I'm proposing Carlo use a 4-2-3-1 formation if Cuffy comes back to allow the use of BOTH Ronaldinho and Cuffy as well as Kaka and Pato.
We need to also understand (and the players should also understand) that the same players should not be played all the time. but a proper rotation be developed that will replace players with one with a same style to give other players a chance and also to rest key players. Even KAKA and PATO can not play EVERY game we need to understand.
so 4-2-3-1. i believe this will give us the WIDTH missing in our team at times and also a more aggressive attack without sacrificing defense.
4 defenders: we have many defenders. Pick the best ones who can play at the moment. simple as that. but make sure to give them rest also so they don't get burned out.
2 defensive midfielders: either Flamini (if we're playing a more attacking team), Gattuso, Pirlo (if we need more creativity), or Ambrosini. Personally i would play Pirlo + Gattuso or Flamini + Gattuso. Ambrosini only as a sub or when there are injuries. NEVER PLAY EMERSON.
3 attacking midfielders: my first choice would be to play Gourcuff - Kaka - Ronaldinho. we all know ronnie and cuffy can cross so they should play in the sides. I've seen Kaka and Ronnie play well in the 4-2-3-1 along with Robinho.. so i think they can adapt and play with Cuffy instead. Seedorf can be used to substitute any of those 3 players to give them a rest or for injuries. If Beckham stays we can also play him on the right side of that Becks - Kaka - Ronnie. etc. we just need to remember not to use/play a player too much. But I think Seedorf and Becks (if he stays) should be more as "tactical substitutes" while Cuffy - Kaka- Ronnie as starters.
1: strikers. Choose from Pato, Borriello, Inzaghi or Sheva. whosoever is on form in the moment.
i believe 4-2-3-1 will work. It suits 1)Ancelotti's style/strategies/techniques.
2)It will give us more width and attack
3)It will not compromise defense and give more chances to players
the players just need to understand that they CAN'T play EVERY SINGLE GAME and even if they are only a substitute they should TRY THEIR BEST and become SUPERSUBS.

we need either Pirlo or Becks playing and at the moment Carletto seems keen to play both of them 2gether...if becks stays he should be in the team with pirlo in this formation so Ronnie or Cuffy will be bench but like u said...the rotation system is important to ensure thats everybody is happy...

any time the formation calls for only 3 defenders it's always a risk or counter-attack in the wings. English teams and teams who play like the English will easily expose this weakness. I would only recommend 3 defenders in the 3-4-3 formation. With 3 defenders 2 central mifielders 2 wingbacks and 2 second strikers 1 target man
this way the wingbacks can cover the flanks defensively and offensively.
we can't play 3 defenders only because we would need 3 Nesta's or 3 Maldini's plus wingbacks in order to have a tight defense.
Just imagine C.Ronaldo, Robben, or Nedved going down the wing.. once he passes Becks it's only one-on-one with 1 defender from the side. It's an easy goal.
another problem is playing players out of position. Gourcuff will be restricted in the deep central midfield role. He needs the freedom of being up front to really shine. Jankelovski did play well one time as a "winger" but we need to remember he's not a true winger and also we need him back there at LB. Antonini hasn't succeeded him yet.
also 5 in the midfield up front is very congested. Only very dynamic teams like Arsenal can make that work. AC Milan prefer tactics over dynamics.. 1) we don't have enough fast young players for that syle 2) Ancelotti's style is not like that.
I think the formation you're thinking about is the 4-4-1-1. Where Kaka is a Trequartista behind Pato the lone striker. Defense would be secure and midfield would work well with Becks-Pirlo-Gattuso-Janku. But Gourcuff, Ronnie, Seedorf and many others have no places.
actually that's not my interpretation of the 4-2-3-1. also Rossi isn't officially signed.

I believe in creating PARTNERSHIPS to make a team suceed. Kaka + Pato and Becks + Pirlo are GREAT examples on partnerships that work. I think Flamini + Gourcuff would work and is an alternative for Becks + Pirlo (if there are injuries or need to rest players). Ronnie + Gattuso should work also. Gattuso is a very aggressive defensive midfielder which would compliment Ronnie's creative attacking qualities. Also Janku can get forward with Ronnie if Gattuso covers that side.
Flamini + Gourcuff (on the right side) for me is very similar to Flamini + Fabregas (in the middle). Gourcuff will get the freedom to create plays/crosses and sometimes attack (just like Fabregas) and Flamini can cover his back.
The problem why ROTATION didn't work for Benitez at Liverpool is because he changes the the formation/style when he replaces a player for another. I think my "Partnership" system is superior because it encourages players to get to know their partner and create a "connection/link" in play. When we rotate players it should be done as "partners" so it won't break the connection..it's just like changing the your Cell Phone case with one with a different color. if you only change one player here or there then its like buying a new cell phone and it takes a bit of time to learn a new cell phone. thats why Benitez's rotation fails.

I think it will be a 4-2-3-1 that suit Ancelloti strategy,when u have the Zambro and Rossi u have to play them.In Acu's formation it will restrict Zambro and Rossi from playing.When Ancelloti said he wanted to add a new leftback at the first day of the january transfer season,i feels he is looking to play a formation with a wingback..
Really???,i think Zambro,Rossi etc... can play at midfield.Why not???
